After nearly a decade in public accounting, I found myself exactly where I thought I wanted to be - except I couldn't shake the feeling that there had to be a better way. The long hours, constant pressure, and outdated processes left me exhausted and questioning whether I could continue doing the work I loved without sacrificing my health and personal life.

In January 2023, I took a leap and started my own firm. I didn't have a step-by-step guide, but I had a vision: a practice built on efficiency, sustainability, and freedom. Over the next two years, I navigated the challenges of setting up a business, refining processes, and finding ways to work smarter - not harder. Along the way, I realized I wasn't alone.

That's why I started Forward CPA, LLC. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to go from employee to entrepreneur - and how freeing it is when you get it right. My goal is to give CPAs the tools, resources, and support they need to build firms that fit their life, not consume it.
