I spent two years in private accounting and nine years in public accounting before launching my own firm.

Over that time, I saw how demanding audit work can be, and how often the systems around it make things harder than they need to be.

I built a governmental audit practice from the ground up as a solo CPA, navigating licensing, compliance, and peer review along the way. There wasn’t a clear roadmap, so I had to figure out what worked through experience.

Today, the firm serves school districts across the state and operates on systems designed to be efficient, repeatable, and sustainable.

But getting here wasn’t about working more hours. It was about building better processes, making intentional decisions, and finding ways to do the work without burning out.

That’s what led me to start building resources alongside the firm.

I wanted a better way to approach audit work. One that helps firms produce high-quality work, train people faster, and make smarter decisions about how they operate.

Most auditors are solving the same problems in isolation.
